A private university and its corporate partner have formed an SPV to lead a major infrastructure expansion project in Lusaka. The SPV is now hiring an efficient and highly organized Administrative Secretary, with multilingual skills (European, Asian languages, or Arabic) considered a strong advantage.
This role provides administrative and coordination support to senior managers, stakeholders, and visiting consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the SPV executive team
- Manage schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and communications
- Prepare, organize, and archive project documentation
- Support translation, note-taking, or interpretation when needed
- Liaise with international and local partners in a professional manner
- Draft and format reports, letters, and presentation materials
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure smooth office operations
- Assist in organizing stakeholder briefings or visits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or equivalent
- 3+ years of proven experience in a similar administrative role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic office systems
- Knowledge of Arabic, European, or Asian languages is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Experience in infrastructure, NGO, academic, or project-based environments is a plus
