Procurement and Logistics Manager

A reputable private university in Zambia has partnered with a private company to form an investment Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) leading a multi-million-dollar expansion project in Lusaka.

The SPV is seeking an experienced and highly organized Procurement and Logistics Manager to oversee the acquisition and timely delivery of goods and services for the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes in line with project timelines and budgets  
- Identify, assess, and manage vendor relationships and contracts  
- Handle logistics, inventory control, and delivery schedules  
- Ensure compliance with national procurement laws and internal controls  
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and construction teams to align procurement with project phases  
- Monitor supplier performance and manage procurement risks  
- Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and spend analysis  

Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field  
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement and logistics experience  
- Prior experience in infrastructure or construction projects is a strong advantage  
- Proficient in procurement software and reporting tools  
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and communication skills  
- Membership with ZIPS or equivalent is desirable
